My Story

Like many therapist's in the field, my training began early on. I had a knack for listening and connecting with a wide array of people. I graduated from Gordon College in Wenham, MA, and went on to get my Masters in Counseling at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in South Hamilton, MA.

I worked for 12 years in outpatient community mental health, gaining extensive experience with children, teens, and young adults facing a variety of challenges and life circumstances. I have seen the power of a therapeutic relationship built on trust and compassion to help individuals grow, change and heal.

Grounded in the belief of the inherent dignity of every person, I work to  create a safe and nurturing space for clients to explore their  thoughts, emotions, and  concerns. Through a strengths-based approach, I empower clients to build a resilient mindset to navigate life's challenges with grace and courage.

I come from a Christian orientation and can accommodate spiritual issues into our work if helpful, although I see a variety of people from all walks of life and faith backgrounds.
